Designed by Sparkman & Stevens to train cadets in Annapolis, the Rainbow is the perfect boat to learn on. Responsive in a wide variety of wind conditions, these 24 footers are a joy to sail. The 1200 lb. keel insures that they will be forgiving of the mistakes made by first timers, and it is often a great relief to those who have signed up for our Basic Hands-On Course to know that they won't "go over". These day-sailors are used for our Basic Hands-On Course, and Practice Sails, as well as the Friday Night Regattas. They are also available for day and half day rentals.

Our 26' Pearsons are "weekenders" or pocket-cruisers". These yachts are out fitted with working heads, and electronics, including a VHF marine radio. The carry 6 or 9.9 horse power outboards, so you can take off to explore greater reaches of the Hudson without having to worry what to do if the wind dies. (With an outboard at the ready, neither the Tappan Zee Bridge nor Bear Mountain are out of the question for a day long trip.) The Pearsons are used on our Coastal Cruising Course, and are also available for day and half day rentals.

Our flagship, Merlin's Magic is a 35' Ericson. Long known for their seaworthiness, and grace under sail, this particular Ericson is also the height in luxury. Meticulously maintained by her owner, you'll find her brass shiny. Our two night course, Bareboat Chartering, is held on Merlin's Magic. She is also available for Captained Charters.
